Robert E Abbott, the firm’s founder is a Public Accountant in the State of California. We call him Bob. He graduated from Armstrong University in Berkeley. During his time, he developed a big tax and accounting practice in El Sobrante, California. He sold that practice and moved to the City of Martinez, California. Helping Bob, as the firm was rapidly growing was Rebecca Hayes and Oscar Antonio.
Rebecca started her career with Bob Abbott as an accountant since 1990; she has an Accounting Degree and an MBA. Her work experience includes working as Internal Revenue Agent for IRS, as Manager for H & R Block, as well as Tax Professional for KPMG, an international accounting firm with offices located worldwide. After Bob and Rebecca passed away, Oscar took over the business.
Oscar Antonio started his career with Bob almost 15 years ago. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Philosophy, an MBA and an alumnus of Santa Clara University Advance Accounting Proficiency Certification Program. He was preparing individual and business tax returns since 2003
Oscar is an Enrolled Agent, a federally-authorized Tax Practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and who is empowered by the US department of the treasury with unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service – examination, collection and appeals-. He is a member of National Associations of Enrolled Agents, California society of Enrolled agents and the National Association of Tax professionals. He is also a Fellow of the prestigious National Tax Practice Institute.
With his education, experience, professional growth, and expertise, Oscar firmly believes that income tax preparation, whether simple or complex remains very personal. And that it requires a complete understanding of each individual situation.
